On the evening of May 10th, I was fishing a drop-off in the southwest corner of my neighborhood pond. I started with a lizard (Texas rigged) and had no luck. Then I switched to the 5”watermelon Warrior Spear bait I got from the May3rd Alum Creek State tournament. On my 3rd or 4th cast, I caught y this bass in about 1-1/2 feet of water.

Caught this fish on a senko. It was on Alum Creek Lake, the first time I have ever been on this lake. Just four days after having laproscopic surgery, i went out on my first OBFN tournament and caught my first bass ever on a lake. Sadly it was only 11 inches so i could not weigh it in. I was so happy though.
