The O.B.F.N Jr. Elite series kicked its season off at
Delaware state park on Saturday June 23rd. 58 Jr. anglers
showed up bright and early excited to get on the water
with their adult mentors for what promised to be a great
day. Registration opened at 6:00 am with donuts provided
by Wood Forest Bank, and sunglasses given to all Jr. competitors
provided by N.A.P.A Auto parts. Todd Thompson promptly
started the sponsor introductions and pairings meeting
at 6:30am. With the excitement filling the air, Todd called
out the Jr. anglers names and their boat captains for
the day. Boats were launched and the Jr. competitors went
out by the numbers “ just like the big guys”.
After all the numbers had been called, the O.B.F.N tournament

his boat to give rides to all that wanted to try to catch
their Jr. Angler in action. After the rides

photos of our juniors.
With a 1:15pm weigh in time, and all of the Jr. anglers
back at the boat ramp, boats was loaded on their trailers
and buzz in the parking lot started amongst the boat
